Mental Health Program
As of mid-2014, APB has been operating the Mental Health Program in cooperation with the BC Mental Health Review Board and the Community Legal Assistance Society’s Mental Health Law Program. CLAS refers clients they are unable to represent to APB for representation from trained volunteer lawyers and law students. APB provides training, practice support, and extended insurance coverage to participating lawyers.
Lawyers, law students and non-legal volunteers interested in volunteering for the Program may register below or email email@example.com or contact APB’s Program Coordinator Marie-Noël Campbell at 604-482-3195 ext.1513. Non-lawyers interested in volunteering should put “Community Worker Volunteer” in the “other information” field.
