Our Wills Clinic engages volunteer lawyers in advising low and modest income people over the age of 55, and people with a terminal illness, about their personal estate matters. Our volunteer lawyers then draft and help to execute Wills, Representation Agreements and enduring Powers of Attorney where needed.
Our Wills Clinic reopened in August 2020 to provide clients, who are over 55 years of age or terminally ill, with Wills, Representation Agreements and enduring Powers of Attorney, during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
To see if you or someone you're helping qualifies for our Wills Clinic, use our Online Triage Form, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or leave a voicemail at 604-424-9600, with your contact information and basic information regarding your legal needs.
Wills Clinic intake sessions are typically held on Wednesdays between 11am and 2pm. After intake, if a volunteer lawyer finds your situation suitable for service, they will draft a Will, a Representation Agreement, or enduring Power of Attorney for you. They can also execute your documents with you over a video conference meeting.
