APB seeks volunteer lawyers and law students for new Mental Health Program

Access Pro Bono seeks volunteer lawyers and law students for its new Mental Health Program set to launch in the late spring of 2014.
The Program runs in partnership with the BC Mental Health Review Board and the Community Legal Assistance Society’s Mental Health Law Program, and aims to provide free legal representation to individuals contesting their involuntary detainment in hearings held under the BC Mental Health Act.
